Shoot for the Loot
The Charity League's next big event is coming up soon! Check out the annual clay shooting tournament benefiting the hearing and speech impaired children of Alabama. Here's more from The Charity League...
"Join us on September 29, 2011 for our second annual sporting clay tournament at Selwood Farms presented by Ruff and Tuff! Mark Prater, the chief meteorologist of CBS42 will be our celebrity co-chair. Additionally, we will be auctioning off 2 spaces on a team to play with the two sexiest fat men around...Rick and Bubba. You don't want to miss out on the fun you can have raising money for speech and hearing impaired children at this tournament!"

UAB Dept of Physical Therapy looking for children with hearing loss
Please read carefully to see if your family may qualify for this study. If you are unsure, please go ahead and contact the department at the email or phone number provided to find out more. Here's a quick overview of the qualifications-$150 per qualifying child could be yours as compensation.
1. Aged 6-12 years
2. Diagnosis of severe to profound bilateral sensorineural hearing loss (can be from any etiology)
3. No severe cognitive delays (must be able to follow instructions)
4. No other known neurological problems (must be able to stand/balance/walk)
5. No known oculomotor problems (corrected vision problems are fine)
